After joining Nestlé Japan Ltd., Motoi worked as marketing specialist in the Beverage Business Division. After gaining experience in several categories as Brand Manager, he took a position of General Manager of the Regular Soluble Coffee Business Department from 2016 to 2019, where he was responsible for most of NESCAFÉ soluble coffee products as core business including coffee machines such as the NESCAFÉ GOLDBLEND Barista. From 2020, he worked as Assistant Regional Manager of Zone AOA at Nestlé's headquarters in Switzerland, where he provided support on business strategy development for each market. From January 2022, he moved back to Japan and became a head of Digital & eCommerce Division in Nestlé Japan, and started leading whole eCommerce business both D2C and Pure Players. He also leads cross-functional digital initiatives in corporate level to realize customer-focused digital CX.
