Director

Born in Tokyo in 1970. Graduated from Gakushuin University, Faculty of Letters, Department of History. He Joined Sanseido Bookstore in 1994. Worked at Kanda Main Store, Narita Airport Store, etc. Joined Softbank in 1999. Participated in the launch of E-Shopping Books (now Seven Net Shopping). Joined Amazon Japan in 2006. Books Merchandiser. Joined Aeon Co. in 2007. He launched the online supermarket business and developed the online strategy for the Aeon Group. 2011 Joined Kitamura Co. Executive Officer, in charge of corporate planning and omni-channel (human-powered EC) promotion. After working at Lawson, he became independent. During his bookstore days, he participated in the launch of an online bookstore in order to create a world where everyone can buy books at the same price (book price + transportation costs). In the process, he realized that online services that leverage real stores are effective in Japanese retailing, and moved from Amazon to Aeon. While building an online supermarket that focused on store users and members, and pursuing an online strategy for the entire group, he felt that a high level of expertise in products and customer service was needed to better utilize the Internet, and joined Kitamura Camera. Utilizing a network of approximately 1,300 stores, he achieved EC involvement sales of 41.9 billion yen (11.7 billion yen for home delivery, 30.2 billion yen for store pickup). He promoted "Ningenryoku EC," a further fusion of stores and the Internet. Currently, he is independent and supports omni-channelization of retail distribution companies.
