CD-4 Designing Experiences That Build Lasting Relationships
As my interactions with AI have increased recently, I often find myself wondering, “What do humans have that AI doesn’t?” I believe one of those things is our ability to engage in more heartfelt communication—such as genuine emotions, empathy rooted in physical sensations, and the joy of sharing our own moving experiences with others. I believe that trust and bonds are forged precisely because we spend time together in real-world spaces—not just through interactions on a screen—feeling the words and expressions that arise spontaneously in the moment, and sharing precious experiences and moments that can only be enjoyed there.
Although they operate in completely different fields—food, gaming, and the legal profession—each of these three individuals has left a lasting impression on customers and built unbreakable “bonds” through “designing profound experiences in real-world settings.”
I’d like to use their examples to unravel the common elements and key points of experience design that are essential in today’s world.
