Joined Shiseido in 1984. After working in the sales department of a sales company in Osaka, he worked in the Product Development Department.
Then, worked in the Advertising Department, where he was in charge of print media and events.
From 1994, he worked in the Corporate Planning Department, where he was in charge of creating a corporate philosophy and setting up an in-house childcare center, and from 2003, he worked in the Professional Business Department, where he was involved in the business of professional products for hair salons and the operation of service businesses such as beauty salons.
In 2008, joined the Corporate Planning Department, where he was in charge of the Ginza Redevelopment Project, including the rebuilding of the head office building and the establishment of a new global headquarters, as well as the management of the corporate website.
April 2014, became General Manager of the Communication Division.
October 2015, became General Manager of the Communication Division at Shiseido Japan Co., Ltd.
From January 2018, he has been the General Manager of the Media Management Department of the same company.
Since January 2019, serves as Executive Manager of the Media Management Department (currently the Media Strategy Department) and Managing Director of the Japan Advertisers Association.
Current position from April 2023.
