Rieko joined shopify in 2017 to launch the Japan office, overseeing and executing a wide range of product lines and building from the ground up. As shopify Japan's presence grew, Rieko pivoted to founding her own company ISSHONI LLC, advising and consulting companies with market entry strategies as well as growing domestic eCommerce business. Rieko joined Dotdigital in 2023 as a Head of Japan.
