MC-1 The Decline in Quality of Advertising Content: Causes and Solutions
The advent of digital advertising technology has transformed the advertising experience for consumers, while also empowering advertisers to engage with consumers through diverse channels and to gather a wealth of data. Concurrently, advertisers are now equipped with the ability to engage with consumers through an array of channels and to procure a spectrum of data.
In this session, we will examine the underlying factors contributing to the decline in ad quality and the current state of countermeasures from the vantage points of (former) ad agencies, media companies, tech vendors, and advertisers.
