Founded Moonlight Wave (MLW) in 2007 to provide PR consulting and project management for communication agencies and teams. In addition to expertise in PR, MLW brings understanding and experience of business management, a global perspective and unique network internal/external to Japan. MLW delivers comprehensive service for communications and PR and supports B2C business, thought leadership for NPOs and start ups in their business expansion in Japan and beyond. As a member of PRSA Counselors Academy, MLW collaborates with US PR agencies for global communication and maintains a partnership with an Indian PR agency for Asia.

Prior to founding MLW, Mochizuki began her career at P&G where she worked for 10 years in detergent, beauty care and cosmetic divisions. She helped introduce Vidal Sassoon to the Japanese market, contributing to advertising campaign planning while leading PR and event marketing. After taking the role of re-branding project leader for cosmetic Brand, she integrated PR into the marketing programs of FMCG and served as the media relations professional in Brand and corporate PR in P&G's Beauty& Cosmetic category including High-end skin care Brand, SK-II . She next managed business development for the women’s division at Nike Japan, new business development, integration of IT and real estate and PR counsel for the president at Mori Building. She also managed apparel marketing for men at Fast Retailing. Her career has always focused on marketing and communication in Japanese and foreign companies.
