Daizo has an extensive and reliable professional experience, joins Sumitomo Corporation with over 20 years of truck record leading the forefront of media, advertising and marketing in Japan. Most recently at Essence Digital, part of WPP and GroupM, as he served as Managing Director Japan, managing and responsible businesses in Japan. Prior to Essence, Daizo was at Apple as General Manager for iAd, managing the Japan business and developing marketing partnerships with many global brands and agency partners. In addition to his extensive digital marketing experience, he was Vice President and General Manager of comScore Japan, Chairman of iMedia. He began his career in advertising as a media planner at Dentsu, and developed his rich marketing experience at Walt Disney Company and Viacom.
Sumitomo Corporation as Japanese major general trading and investment company, is expanding Digital Media, Advertising and Content Licensing businesses along with the various properties & existing business synergies. Also, through its strategic partnership with The Chernin Group, LLC and it’s subsidiary companies, Sumitomo Corporation would accelerating the business in the field of the digital media and advertising business in Japan.
