Kosuke Kitajima won gold medals in the 100m and 200m breaststroke at the Athens 2004 and the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic games, becoming the only Japanese to ever win two golds back-to-back in swimming. Before retiring from competitive swimming in April 2016, he established the athlete management agency IMPRINT, the operator of the “KITAJIMAQUATICS” swimming school started in 2011. In 2015, he established the Japan subsidiary of “Perform Better”; a US-based, industry leader in functional training, rehabilitation and performance enhancement. Kosuke currently holds the position of Chief Olympic Officer for Coca-Cola, Director of the Tokyo Swimming Association, and most recently Chief Sports Officer for me&stars.inc, the operator of an e-commerce platform offering unique, premium experiences.
