Jun Masuda joined NAVER Japan in October 2008 as chief strategist and head of the Business Strategy Department. When the 3 companies of NHN Japan Group merged in January 2012, he was appointed chief strategy and marketing officer (CSMO) of LINE, NAVER, and livedoor. He then attained the role of CSMO of LINE Corporation after it changed its name from NHN Japan Corporation in April 2013. While maintaining his role as CSMO, he was appointed senior executive officer of LINE Corporation in April 2014, and as of April 2015, currently serves as a director and CSMO
