Jiro Kobayashi joined ReachLocal Japan as a Managing Director in May 2014. Prior to joining ReachLocal, he was the Executive Director of Dell Japan heading the Consumer and Small & Medium business division. Within his 10 years at Dell, he has been in charge of Dell’s eBusiness division as well as Marketing Communication division. Through his experience at Dell, he strongly believes in the importance of direct response marketing tracking and ROI maximization of the marketing spend. Being an entrepreneur once himself and dedicating most of his career in doing business with Japanese SMBs, his feels his mission is in helping Japan’s small and local businesses to growth through effective demand generation. He holds Bachelor of International Business from Aoyama Gakuin University and a Master of Business Administration from Hitotsubashi University.
